Create your account
Sign up at minimal.so
Visit minimal.so and create your account. You can sign up with:
- Email and password: Enter your email and choose a password
- Google OAuth: Sign in with your Google account for faster setup
No credit card required. Your bookmarks are private by default.
Verify your email
If you signed up with email, check your inbox for a verification email. Click the link to verify your account.
Save your first bookmark
Paste a URL
In the input field at the top of your dashboard, paste any URL you want to save. For example:
Press Enter
Hit Enter or Cmd/Ctrl+Enter to save. Minimal automatically:
- Fetches the page title
- Extracts the description
- Downloads the favicon
- Normalizes the URL for deduplication
If the URL already exists in your bookmarks, it will be updated instead of creating a duplicate.
Organize with groups
Create a new group
Click the + button next to “Groups” in the sidebar to create a new group. Give it a name like “Work”, “Reading List”, or “Design Resources”.
Move bookmarks to groups
To move a bookmark to a different group:
- Right-click the bookmark (or press Space to select multiple)
- Select Move to group
- Choose the destination group
When you move a bookmark to a different group, its visibility resets to the group’s default (typically private).
